Revit provides templates that you can use to start a new project file. However, many engineering organizations have established an extensive set of organization standards that can be replicated by modifying the graphical settings, system families, and component families. These modified settings are stored in an organization’s standard template file, which is used to start new projects. In addition, you can transfer the standards between projects.
